Indie rock royalty is coming to the desert! Get ready Phoenix, because the GRAMMY-winning alt-rock kings of Kings of Leon are claiming their throne at the Arizona Federal Theater on Tuesday, August 20th. The Followill brother quartet will be bringing their signature Dixie-fried garage rock vibes and celebrating the release of their 9th studio album "Can We Please Have Fun."

This is KOL ushering in a new era, one that finds them unabashedly cutting loose over 12 tracks of riff-heavy, hook-filled rock 'n' roll. Lead single "Mustang" is a blazing taste of what's to come - an onslaught of gritty, high-octane alt-rock fueled by the band's trademark mix of Southern swagger and forward-pushing genre-blurring.

As Nathan and Caleb Followill explained, "It's like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable...I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn't have to be on 11." You'll hear that openness on cuts like the dreamy "Actual Daydream" and the swaggering "Don't Stop The Bleeding."

But make no mistake, this is still the same multi-platinum Kings who redefined American indie with critically-acclaimed anthems like the GRAMMY-winners "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire." Expect to hear those iconic hits and plenty of fan favorites from their revered albums like "Youth & Young Manhood" and "Come Around Sundown."

Adding an extra dimension of leftfield psychedelia is opening act Phantogram. This trailblazing trip-hop duo crafts a spacey, synth-warped sound full of airy vocals and hypnotic "street beats" that you may recognize from Alt hits like "Fall In Love." It's the perfect curtain-raiser for an evening of genre-bending transcendence.
