For starters, Jane’s Addiction has recently made their grand reunion and although fans thought it was just for a momentous gig in London, lo and behold the band is making a full co-headlining tour with Love and Rockets! The group now features its original line-up which include Dave Navarro, Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, and Eric Avery. Anyone who went through the 90s alternative rock phase knows how epic this occasion is. This classic line-up pretty much has influenced a whole generation of rockers.
Now that things are looking up for Navarro and company, Jane’s Addiction is slated to do over 20 dates across North America. Although the band had dropped only four efforts, this was enough greatness to leave a smashing legacy. In 1990, the band released their most influential effort, Ritualo de lo Habitual, a fantastic body of work known for spawning “Stop!” “Been Caught Stealing,” and “Classic Girl.” Besides this groundbreaking record, the band will also be serving titles from debut album Nothing’s Shocking, 2003’s Strays, and 2011’s The Great Escape Artist.
Love and Rockets also had a jaw dropping reunion last year when they made an incredible appearance at Pasadena’s Cruel World Festival. It was the very first time that fans saw the post punk titans performing together in 15 years. And just when fans thought that Love and Rockets were calling it quits again in 2023, they announced this massive outing with fellow newly reunited rockers Jane's Addiction.
