The Australian-born and Los Angeles-based trio, Chase Atlantic, has made a massive name for themselves, amassing over 5.4 billion streams on Spotify alone. Their smash single “OHMAMI” hit a hugely impressive 96 million streams in only 6 months, and since then, they have performed headlining sold-out concerts on multiple continents.
The creative journey of brothers Mitchel and Clinton Cave and Christian Anthony is prolific, to say the least. They are masters of genre hopscotching: sleek R&B pop meets glitchy modern US hip-hop meets rakish 80s soul-pop meets One Direction-style power pop meets incandescent slow jams.
The Cave brothers started out as YouTube performers, with impressive covers of existing hits such as 1975’s “Chocolate”, Justin Bieber’s “Where Are You Now”, and Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven”, but gained massive leverage after their performance on X Factor Australia as the quintet What About Tonight. The EP, “Dalliance”, was released in 2014 under their new name, Chase Atlantic. The group gained a massive leap forward when they were signed by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, and their self-titled debut studio album was released in 2017.
