Tori Amos' "In Times of Dragons" Tour 2026

Tori Amos is releasing her eighteenth studio album this spring. "In Times of Dragons" will see the world-renowned singer take everyone back to a historical age where a metaphorical world is seen to be fighting for democracy. In times of the dragons, it's about to get real as Amos brings new music to the stage. Embarking on an extensibve 35-date U.S. tour, she's looking forward to performing her hits, fan favorites, and new music in a new era in her career.

“I can’t wait to see you all again on the road, we have much to catch up on,” the 62-year-old shared on Instagram. “So looking forward to playing with [bassist] Jon (Evans), [drummer] Ash (Sloan), [and backing vocalists] Deni (Hlavinka), Hadley (Kennary) and Liv (Gibson). It’s going to be a blast.”

Her fans are definitely looking forward to this show - a showcase of new music, her classics, and surprises coming to everyone's way. The media has been tuning in for the latest details of her new album era, and it surely proves that the public has been waiting for this very moment.

“Well more than a year into her Ocean To Ocean Tour, Tori Amos is still taking risks and playing with her back catalog in fresh ways,” Magnet Magazine reported about a July 2023 Red Bank, NJ concert.

“…Amos, joined again by bassist Jon Evans and drummer Ash Soan, [have’ coalesced into an intuitive, jazz-inflected combo that knows when to extend an intro for several minutes of delicious sonic exploration and when to hold back for deliberate silence.”

About the New Album

Tori Amos' new album features 10 distinct characters, all respectively linked to a unique song. Her single "Stronger Together" gave listeners a glimpse of The Daughter, with messages of "celebrating resilience, connection and empowerment."

On her new song "Shush", Amos shares that "He represents what we’re dealing with right now. He sees congressmen, senators, and even probably presidents, as people who answer to him and other billionaires, who don’t think you and I should vote."

Reflecting on reality and society's struggles as a whole, Amos seems to escape a "lizard demon" in the form of a billionaire husband in a song that's a critique of power, digital-age feudalism, and corporate over politics.

"We don’t look like we’re in the trenches, in the muck. We have all the cool, digital devices now. So it looks different. But it has the same philosophy."

Narrating how democracy is being dismantled in real time, she likens all of these events into something that was once prevalent 'in times of the dragons....
