Headliner

Primus is an American rock band from California, formed in 1984. The band was founded by bassist and vocalist Les Claypool, and originally consisted of members Todd Huth on guitar, and drummer Jay Lane. When Huth and Lane left the band in 1989, guitarist Larry "Ler" LaLonde, and drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander took the spotlight and formed what is known to fans as the “classic” lineup which lasted several years.

Primus have released nine studio albums since formation, with the most notable albums being “Sailing the Seas of Cheese” and “Pork Soda”, and still highly popular and influential to this date. Primus’ third studio album “Sailing the Seas of Cheese” and its hits "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" and "Tommy the Cat" were a major breakthrough as both were broadcasted on MTV. However, it was the band’s 1993 dark and humorous album “Pork Soda” that proved Primus has a lot more to offer, with hit single "My Name Is Mud", leading the album to receive a Platinum certificate.

When it comes to pop and cult classics of late 80s all the way to 2000s, Primus played a key part in producing major tracks for some of pop culture’s established TV shows, Movies and even Video Games. Most popular and famous features include tracks for The Beavis and Butt-head Experience, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and the original intro theme song for South Park, one of America’s globally recognized and long running animated sitcoms. Primus thrives on scenes where art, music and creativity collide organically.

Special Guest

MonoNeon is a 34 year old American musician, bassist, singer and songwriter. He has gained his popularity and cult following from his involvement with the late music icon Prince. Prince first noticed Mono in 2014 and took him on to collaborate and work on several projects of his. In 2015, Prince formed a new band and invited Mono as a bassist, with Kirk Johnson, Donna Grantis and Adrian Crutchfield. Mono’s style is experimental, pushing boundaries of instruments while combining modern and more traditional techniques to form his unique sound.
