A NEW VENUE, A GREATER SHOW

This year, Phoenix Ballet is bringing their Nutcracker performances to a new venue — live at the Arizona Financial Theatre. Formerly at the Orpheum, this new home marks a new era of their beloved holiday classic. Teasing bigger and better sets as they perform in the new stage, they also share that audiences will definitely enjoy their classic style with captivating choreography, brilliant and fabulous costumes, and their world-class dancers’ moves. ABOUT THE NUTCRACKER

Authored by E. T. A. Hoffmann & turned into a fairy ballet orchestrated and choreographed by Tchaikovsky between 1891 and 1892, The Nutcracker has since been a holiday staple around the globe. With various live-stage adaptations, including musicals and ballet numbers, millions of people have witnessed the classic tale in different ways. Sharing the tale of Clara who falls asleep on Christmas eve, audiences are transported into a whimsical world where Christmas characters, toys, a Sugar Plum Fairy, and many more holiday surprises burst to life.
