In support of their recent work + big hits, get ready for the ultimate night of indie-pop magic as Mark Foster and Isom Innis raise the bar in this year’s shows. From “Pumped Up Kicks” to “Houdini,” and “Lost in Space” to “Chasing Low Vibrations,” you’re in for a wild night of their very best.

THE BIG HITS

Formed in 2009, Foster The People gained international fame with the release of their debut album “Torches” in 2011. Driven by their crossover hit “Pumped Up Kicks” which skyrocketed to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, they became one of the hottest bands of the year. They also scored three Grammy nominations for the hit single. The album also featured their popular tracks “Helena Beat” and “Houdini.” 

From then on, the band kept it all up with indie records that received glowing reviews. Their succeeding albums include “Supermodel,” “Sacred Hearts Club,” and their most recent release, “Paradise State of Mind.”

IT’S A PARADISE STATE OF MIND

“Paradise State of Mind” was released in August 2024, marking a major milestone for the band. It’s their first album in seven years, following “Sacred Hearts Club” from 2017. With elements of disco, funk, gospel, and jazz, influenced from the late 70s and 80s sound, the album received critical acclaim, with publications like Billboard, NME, AP News, Forbes, Clash Magazine, and Consequence hailing it as one of their finest work yet. Marking their third Top 10 on Billboard’s Album Sales chart, it’s an album received well by fans and new listeners too. 

“Paradise State of Mind is a refreshing modern offering from the LA-duo, their numbers may have dwindled by half, but their sound is bigger than ever,” wrote Lana Williams of The Line of Best Fit.
