The alt-rock chart-toppers have just announced a massive North American tour in support of their upcoming fifth studio album A Light That Waits, their first release in 12 years, and testament to their strive to remain ever-evolving and inspiring. The Summer of Light Tour is slated to kick off in early May 2026 in Moncton, New Brunswick, making stops at major venues in Ottawa, Vancouver, Kansas City, San Diego, Houston, St. Augustine, Gilford, and Toronto among others before wrapping up in late August 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. The Fray will be bringing special guests Dashboard Confessional, Colony House, The Strumbellas, and Brother Elsey along for the ride on select dates.
The Fray exploded onto the music scene in 2005 with their debut album How To Save a Life, achieving quadruple platinum status almost instantly. The album’s two singles Over My Head (Cable Car) and How To Save a Life peaked on the charts, and the latter became the unofficial theme song of the popular television series Grey’s Anatomy. To date, The Fray received no less than four Grammy Award nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, a Planeta Award, and an APRA Award.
The Fray will be joined at the iconic Arizona Financial Theatre by American emo band Dashboard Confessional, best known for face-melting hits such as Vindicated, Hands Down, and Don’t Wait.
